tool provides a virtual image of the storage system. It not only provides locations of items on hand but also lists open spaces to help place new arrivals.
BxItems’ barcode technology assigns every item a unique inventory code which, combined with barcode labeled storage spaces, makes it easy to find any item.
BxItems can be used together with BxOrders to manage materials from ordering to storage to use.

    Many small items are kept in boxes, drawers, or cabinets
    with many small containers or cells to hold material.
    BxItems offers a simple, fast and easy to use ‘Box’ storage
    function that simplifies adding boxes to the program as
    well as using the small cells when putting items away.
  • BXITEMS IS BARCODE ENABLED
    Barcoding is commonly used in large, complex storage
    and retrieval systems. It is standard in the BxItems storage
    system. Every location, every item stored has a unique
    barcode. The barcodes may be scanned or the identity
    code may be keyed into BxItems to retrieve detailed item or
    location information.
  • Retrieve container or item information. Scan the barcode
    or enter the identity code to quickly retrieve information.
  • Update container or item information easily. Permissions
    can be set to prevent unauthorized editing or deletion.
  • Relocate containers or items. Users can drag-and-drop
    containers to relocate in the tree view.
  • Remove containers or items. Recycle bin allows recovery

Storage Box is a special container that can be defined in any size (e.g. 10x10 or 3x3). Visual box diagrams show the arrangement of samples and one-click to print the diagrams. Users can store multiple samples simultaneously.

BxItems allows exporting stored sample information to a file.
